My mam was rushed in on Wednesday night with a broken collarbone and needed surgery! I am stuck in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, worried sick. I was highly recommended to visit Esnaf Hospital by a friend who has had treatment there before.
I made an appointment with Emel to see a vascular specialist who was brilliant.
He started by taking blood samples, an ECG and an ultrasound.
From the results of the tests, he recommended that I have an angiography, which I had done.
He also put me on some new medication.
The cost of my treatment was also very competitive.
I was so impressed with the level of service from all the staff there and the cleanliness of the hospital, that I now have regular checkups every 6 months there.
I therefore highly recommend anyone to visit Esnaf Hospital.

I have just had Cataract surgery at the Esnaf Hospital and I want to express my thanks to Doctor Nazir E Demirci and her team for looking after me and helping me to get through the procedure. Doctor Demirci was kind and understanding.

I also want to mention the translator Emre Can. He was so helpful and reassuring and made me feel relaxed and positive about the procedure. He checked with me that I was happy throughout the process. I think he is an excellent representative of how staff should present themselves within the Esnaf Hospital.

We have just returned from Fethiye where my husband had a nasty fall and was treated efficiently and quickly by the accident and emergency department. He had a nasty cut to his thumb and fractured cheekbone. He was pretty poorly and so he was admitted for tests including a CT scan. He had many tests and examinations before being released the next day. They nurses and doctors were very caring and professional, and we also had the services of a young English woman called Jess who was invaluable throughout for her translation skills.

We have just returned to the UK after my husband experiencing a nasty fall. We went to the accident and emergency department where they treated his badly wounded thumb, and trauma to the side of his face. He was quite poorly as he is elderly and they decided to admit him for observation. They carried out many tests including CT scans and reassured us that he would recover. We consequently had to go every other day for dressing changes to his thumb, and were treated throughout by a quick professional team of doctors and nurses.

We also had the service of a young English woman called Jess who translated everything the doctors told us.

All in all, it was horrible experience made better by their professionalism. I would recommend anyone who has the misfortune to need hospital treatment, to use them if you are in Fethiye or surrounding areas. Well done Esnaf!

After feeling so unwell for many years at 55 felt I could go on for much longer and went to my doctor so many in times after blood tests etc said there was nothing of concern. I had fatigue felt nausea dizzy and just rubbish the whole time.

I was recommended to have full health in Turkey at the Esnafe! Well for £600 they checked every system in my body. Discovered I had gallstones. Checked my symptoms which could very easily be gallstones.

I decided to have my gallbladder removed in the Esnafe in Turkey who got to the bottom of my problem. From start to finish I felt safe and totally looked after. I had a serious accident whilst on holiday in Turkey. The scans and x-rays required to assess the damage were done quickly and two surgeons used that information to choose the best course of treatment for me. I had numerous fractures and a broken femur that needed operating on. I was given a comfortable private room, well equipped and modern, then I underwent surgery for the broken femur at the earliest opportunity. After the operation, I was bed-bound for a week before I was able to leave the hospital. During my whole stay all the staff, doctors, nurses, translators, cleaners and caterers were all excellent. They were unfailingly cheerful and helpful and I felt well cared for. Simply put, the whole team did everything they could to make my stay as comfortable as possible and I'm enormously grateful to them all.

Had my gallbladder removed by Baris Gurcu from meeting to operation and post op . He was excellent , efficient, professional and would highly recommend him. I have a hospital phobia and avoided a cholecystectomy due to my fear and lack of faith in English nhs I can say Dr Gurcu and Esnaf hospital he has given me it back. The hospital and nursing staff excellent and out English hospitals could learn from how professional quick and efficient this hospital is. I’m a nurse practitioner and worked for nhs for 20 plus years and I’m reluctant to say this but it’s true we could learn so much from this hospital, this team of surgeons and this would improve care in the U.K. Thank you Dr Gurcu finally pain free.

I will highly recommend this hospital to everyone .After my long investigations I choose Specialist Dr Ahmet Kemal Ertuna for my forth hernia operation. My last operation was on Australia Sydney’s one of the best private hospital, Operation took 11 hours and with complications I was nearly not survive from this operation. Cost of operation was $76,000 from my insurance plus $5,000 from my pocket.
Mr. Ertuna fix my existing hernia problems and another hernia in 5 hours, he done very good operation with his extensive 42 years experience. I am thankful to him and all hospital staff.

I underwent upper eyelid surgery. I initially made contact via WhatsApp after being recommended to the hospital by a former client. I had long conversations with Bora about the procedure, in English and arranged an appointment. On the day of the appointment, I met Batu who became my chaperone and interpreter. The hospital itself was modern and very clean. I met with Rita Inan Kocaarslan the surgeon and following the consultation I booked my operation. As I have many medical issues the Dr insisted on additional tests along with the usual blood, ECG and chest X-ray. Additionally, I had to see an internal medicine consultant, who went through my medical history and medication and after ordering additional blood tests gave the go-ahead. As a precaution, I was told that they would keep me in overnight just to keep an eye on me. On the day of the operation, I was again met by Batu and I was admitted and shown to my room which had TV, fridge comfortable sofa and en-suite bathroom. The operation all went very smoothly and afterwards I received excellent care from the nursing staff. Even though I couldn’t eat they provided food and drink for my daughter. For the additional tests and Dr consultation, I was charged £113.76 extra but was not charged for my overnight stay and care which I think this is very reasonable. On discharge, I was given multiple prescription items to help with my recovery. After discharge, I was given an appointment to see the surgeon to be followed up and given my fit to fly certificate. I didn’t have any problems and it all went to plan and I flew home. I had my stitches removed at my GP's and the nurse commented on the good job that the surgeon had done. My recovery is continuing and I have had contact with Bora via WhatsApp since I returned and he checks how I am progressing. I highly recommend this hospital/surgeon and the whole team and if I had any further procedures I would undoubtedly use them again.

It is now 3 weeks since I had upper eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) to remove excess skin.

If I am completely honest the Esnaf wasn't my first choice to have this procedure done, however since my initial contact to Bora to his follow up email 3 weeks after my actual operation I am completed happy with my final choice. Quality service throughout.

The Esnaf hospital was wonderfully clean, very efficient with super staff, in particular, Batuhan Kortan who escorted and explained everything to me throughout my stay.

As I said before I am 3 weeks post-op now from upper eyelid surgery carried out by Dr Riza Inan Kocaarslan and the results are already fantastic. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

Dr Kocaarslan fully explained the procedure to me, what to expect re healing times, answered all questions fully with patience and professionalism. He put me at ease, had the assurance of somebody who knows their stuff and who will give me the results I desired.

As expected, I did have a lot of bruising and swelling around my eyes as I had been in a fight, the pain was minimal throughout, just felt tired for the rest of that day and a tightness above the eyes for about two weeks. I felt well enough to fly back to UK the following day after surgery (lots of looks from fellow travellers though).

Today, I was questioned about my age after asking for a discounted rate for OAPs. "A result."

Although not the cheapest option the professionalism and results I experienced from the Private Lokman Hekim ESNAF Hospital and their staff was truly wonderful. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hospital.
