A graduate of GMC, Amritsar, he pursued his masters in surgery from esteem Government Medical College and Hospitals, Jamnagar, Gujarat. He did his Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery, Endoscopic Hernia, and Bariatric surgery. As an assistant professor at GMC Gujarat and associate professor at different Medical Colleges across India, he has vast experience of teaching General Surgery and Minimal Access surgery to undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. He has worked as a Chief Consultant and HOD of the Laparoscopic, General, and Obesity surgery at Wockhardt Hospitals, one of the Pioneers of Bariatric Surgery in Central India.
