I was worried about my health getting older and being unable to lose weight as easily as I used to so I chose Dr Hatem for gastric sleeve surgery based on his credentials and positive reviews.

I travelled from New Zealand to Cairo and was met by his friendly driver at the airport. I was driven directly to the hospital to meet the Dr, then I underwent a series of tests (ultrasound, blood, ECG). I had my surgery the next morning and was well cared for afterwards by the hospital staff until my discharge three days later. I would recommend it to anyone who feels they need bariatric surgery.

I flew to Egypt alone for gastric sleeve surgery. I was incredibly nervous and anxious, travelling alone, to undergo surgery in a country I’d never even visited before. Dr Hatem was amazing. Professional, knowledgable but above all incredibly friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. He put me at ease, answered my questions day and night, and dealt with minor issues very promptly. I had bariatric surgery in Lebanon, It didn’t work, then I gained more weight.
