Everything from start to finish went smoothly.

My granddaughter & myself went to Egypt at the beginning of October 2024. We were meet by a lovely driver from Dr Islam’s team. He drove us to the hospital & we’re booked in by the hospital staff. As it was late we were shown to our rooms started all the assessments ready for our ops later that day. My granddaughter had the gastric sleeve & I had the mini bypass. All went well with our ops & everyone involved looked after them well. Dr Islam put us both at ease before & after the op even taking us through the op before being put to sleep. I came from Australia with my wife, and we both had gastric sleeve surgery performed by Dr. Islam in Egypt. We are both very happy with the experience. Dr. Islam and his team are extremely friendly, and the progress after surgery has been very quick. I would highly recommend this procedure to anyone, as you are definitely in safe hands.

I had my surgery in Egypt with Dr Islam on 5th July this year.
Dr Islam and his team are first class in their field of bariatric surgery. After researching various countries (including the UK where I live) I found that the surgeon with the best reputation was Dr Islam in Egypt.

I contacted the clinic and had the most helpful patient coordinator Mayan. Nothing was too much trouble for her, including the endless questions I had. I gave all my medical history and current medication list to Mayan who passed this to Dr Islam. I also asked his opinion of which surgery would be better for me long term. Dr Islam advised the mini gastric bypass would be better for me and I trusted his opinion.

I booked my surgery for early June but due to work commitments had to delay this until the beginning of July.

The treatment I received from all of Dr Islam’s team was impeccable, from Valeed the driver, also Mayan, Fatma – his assistant nurse who visited me in my hotel prior to my surgery, to change my medication to those more suitable for surgery. They were all so caring, helpful and thoughtful. On the day of surgery, Dr Islam & the anaesthetist on his team came to visit me and checked my weight and reassured me that everything would be fine.

I can honestly say I was so relaxed going down to surgery, I surprised myself. Once I got into the operating room Dr Islam and his team where there to greet me smiling and reminding me that this was the start of my new life.

I had my surgery at 4pm and was up and walking the very next morning. There is an element of pain (after all you’ve had major surgery, but this was managed very well too. I was checked on regularly (every 2 hours) by both senior doctors & the nurses. Since then, I have not had ANY problems. I’ve followed all the advise given to me by Dr Islam & the nutritionist Dr Riad and am perfectly happy with my recovery.

Dr Islam has put together the best team & they all perform their roles excellently.

If you really want the best cre & service, you wont find a better team to perform your surgery & care for you.

I had a gastric sleeve with doctor Islam back in last January and so far I’ve lost a lot of weight easily. The procedure is very simple and didn’t take time at all as well as the aftercare was amazing. I went back to walking and my normal life after 5 days + the staff and assistants are amazing I highly recommend Doctor Islam!

I am very happy regarding the care and professionalism of Dr. I and his team. The hospital in Alexandria was clean and comfortable and all the staff were so friendly. Dr Islam made me feel completely safe and reassured and checked up on me several times.

I had no complications and also I lost a significant amount of weight since the surgery and I am hoping to lose more.
