There is increasing scientific evidence to support the effects of acupuncture. Our therapists are trained to maintain the strictest hygiene levels and will only use pre-sterilised, disposable needles. Inserting the fine needles can give rise to a sensation which should only be a temporary mild discomfort at the most. Sometimes a more intense sensation is experienced, representing a positive indication of energy movement and is nothing to worry about.
