Been suffering from back pain for over 3 year's and after just one session I can feel a difference. Hopefully after a few more I can feel a huge improvement and maybe wil be pain free. My experience was amazing. And I can recommend it to anyone. It's all nature based so if it doesn't work there is no harm done.

Five Element Acupuncture To make an appointment please call Jai Franklin The Five Elements - Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water - are the foundations of this system of medicine and are the natural spirit of Classical Acupuncture. The elements are alive both around and within us and describe the movement of life and embody all the qualities which we encounter in the Natural World. The Ancient Chinese understood the relationship a human body has with the universe and therefore Five Element Acupuncture follows the specific principles of the seasons and the cyclic flow of life. Although its origins are ancient, it is subject to continuous review and is as beneficial today as it was to the early oriental cultures. It is a non-invasive system of medicine, which can do no harm; indeed it frequently improves additional symptoms outside the main complaint, increasing wellbeing. The beauty of acupuncture is that it entirely compliments Western Medicine, differing only in diagnostic and clinical techniques. How does it work? Acupuncture can be understood on the basis of both an energetic and biomedical model of Western Medicine. It recognises the body's "Vital Energy" (Qi), which upholds all life forms. Qi is said to flow in the body's meridian lines, which circulate through tissue, muscles, organs, skin and bone. Illness, disease or pain result from a blockage or imbalance in the flow of Qi and Acupuncture works by correcting/rebalancing this flow and triggers the body's own healing mechanism. Conditions which can be Helped by Acupuncture
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy simply means therapy carried out using hypnosis. Hypnosis is just the tool that is used to carry out many different kinds of therapy. Hypnosis is simply relaxation, a natural phenomenon - something we do every day. You would probably recognize it as 'day dreaming' or being 'miles away'. A person in hypnosis is aware of everything going on around them and is in complete control at all times.

Acupuncturist Consultation £40 - £60
Medical acupuncture is a modern adaptation of the ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture. It is defined as a therapeutic technique that involves the insertion of fine needles into specific trigger points across the body to encourage the taught muscle to lengthen and therefore decrease pain. It has been found that Medical Acupuncture has been extremely successful when treating a number of common musculoskeletal conditions.
Pregnancy Massage £40 - £60
As we all know, a woman’s body changes dramatically during pregnancy, although your mindset should not. You can still enjoy all the benefits of remedial therapy even while sharing your body with a baby. Massage can be a very effective way of keeping in touch with your feminine side, especially while your body is constantly adapting, it can also release stress and tension that comes with the pressures of being a new mum and can be a modernistic approach to help bond with your baby and further help you understand your body. Pregnancy massage can reduce aches and pains, give you some ‘you’ time, help you explore the feelings of pregnancy further, help to relax, remove swelling and fluid from the legs known as Oedema, increase mobility and improve postural awareness. Obviously during pregnancy there are certain considerations which need to be made to allow the safe administration of pregnancy massage. Most are conducted on a seated massage chair to prevent added pressure being emplaced on the baby unless the therapist has a traditional plinth solely for pregnancy massage which includes a hole in the bed; this allows the client to remain more comfortable through her treatment. Most pregnancy massages are completed fully clothed via soft tissue release or friction techniques or with strappy tops being worn so a small amount of oil can be used around the upper back and neck. Treatments are usually conducted towards neck, upper back, shoulders, lower back and feet. Though if there is a specific area you wish to be treated or excess time to be spent on then, have no hesitation in asking. Certain oils cannot be used as they are absorbed by the body as they increase the lymphatic and circulatory system and metabolism can also be increased. CSSMART uses Pure Touch Organics by Biotone during pregnancy massages as it is a completely organic mixture with only a small number of ingredients.
Sports Therapy £40 - £60
What is Sports Therapy? It is a specific area within massage and is undertaken by manipulating the bodies soft tissues such as muscles, ligaments, tendons and fascia to correct imbalances caused by everyday life, physical activity or trauma. Sports Therapy can aid your body physically, physiologically or psychologically which enable benefits to the client such as; increased muscle conditioning, improved athletic performance, enhanced recovery, preventing or treating injuries. How does the body work? Each movement we make places stress on the body. Our bodies mainly function very intelligently by making choices towards which muscles we select to perform certain movements; therefore the fastest, easiest, least stressed responses are chosen. When these movements become frequently repeated, the same muscles are used and they can quickly become fatigued. To allow the same movement response to occur even though the agonist muscles are fatigued, other muscles which either stabilise or perform other movements are called upon to produce the desired movement. Often when the antagonist and synergist muscles produce this movement they also become fatigued but at a much quicker rate as they aren’t meant to provide that movement. When this occurs, aches and pains can arise. 75% of all pain responses relate to the scenario above as the person cannot complete the task required via the best possible muscle response. This can usually be attributed to a person’s lifestyle choices such as their sports/hobbies or jobs altering their posture through a constant routine of certain movements. Sports Therapy therefore combats this process by manipulating the bodies soft tissues, which stimulates a release of tension in the tissues, removal of waste products, reduced muscle soreness, improved posture and postural awareness, improved flexibility, removal of scar tissue, it also stimulates the body’s natural recovery process and improves the education of the c

Foot injury suspected stress fracture which has now been confirmed as stress fracture. Muscle imbalance. Gait analysis. I have had physio, accupuncture and corrective exercises/stretches. Ultrasound. K tape. The service has been outstanding. True professionals who actually care. I would highly recommend Steven Speers he has helped me no end with my injury. I have been working to a tight deadline to improve my foot injury and he has gone above and beyond to help improve it. I wouldn't be this far on in my rehabilitation if it wasn't for him.
