Our clinic is located in the heart of Tralee in Co. Kerry. Basin Road is on the edge of the town centre and is very easy to locate.  Dan Smyth studied Acupuncture and graduated from Lansdowne college in 2009 with a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Certificate in Western Medicine. The college is run by Dr Vincent Carroll a fully qualified Western Medical Doctor who completed further studies in Acupuncture. Dan qualified with distinction and is a member of the Acupuncture council of Ireland (ACI).  Dan ran two clinics in the past while living in Dublin at two locations in Dublin 15 and Trinity College Dublin. he has extensive experience working with clients in the following situations: Dealing with Infertility issues. Management of the IVF cycle pre and post transfer.Reduction of stress in the weeks leading up to the delivery dateWorking with clients in the 3rd trimester preparing for delivery.Dan has also had great success with clients who need assistance to cope with the stresses and strains of modern life. The Scotia Clinic, originally known as the Scotia Women’s Clinic, is located on the outskirts of Tralee town. They provide professional and caring services such as gynecology care, weight management, stress management, infertility care, pregnancy care, counseling, and ante natal and parenting. The staff at this clinic is under the leadership of Consultant Obstetrician Gynecologist, Dr. Mary McCaffrey. Dr. McCaffrey is a graduate of University College, Cork. She was appointed as Consultant  Obstetrician/ Gynaecologist at Kerry General Hospital in 1998 and opened The Scotia Clinic in 2002. In 2008 a partnership with Sims Clinic, Dublin has made it possible for IVF to be made more easily available to people in Munster.
