Welcome to Acupuncture 4 Women. My name is Inna Suprun.
I am helping women to get pregnant. I support women through each stage of pregnancy from pre-conception care and infertility treatments, through pregnancy and birth, to successful postnatal care.
I specialize in women’s health, not just because there is a huge demand in it. Being a woman myself, I have gone through every feeling of desperation and hope in trying to have a family.
I am a happy mother now. My little boy is my world! But it was not like this from the start. I had ectopic pregnancy and was diagnosed with blocked Fallopian tubes. I was told I had a high risk of another pregnancy outside the womb.
My world of dreams and hopes was shattered. I felt sad, disheartened and guilty. Why me?
I knew I had to fix it. I searched every bit of information I could get. I read every book I could find in the local library.
After my extensive research, I opened Yellow Pages (Oh that sounds so ancient!) and booked an acupuncture treatment. I was very hopeful. At that time I had no idea of what that “witches’ craft” could offer for me!
After my headaches, which I had been having most days, had miraculously disappeared after one treatment, I knew Chinese Medicine had something more to offer!
I have been sneakily flicking through the pages of books on Chinese Medicine in my practitioner’s waiting room. Those books weighed like tons, so thick and weird lingo.
Little that I knew those pages became the start to my new passion, my new profession, and my new lifestyle!
I still remember that weird something, that energy going through my body, my reproductive system, while I was lying on the bed. My body pinned with needles, and my mind somewhere in between two worlds. Not fully asleep, but hardly awake.
Today, when I take the detailed history of my every new patient, who is already pregnant or longing to be, I always want to comfort, that it all going to be alright and that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. And there always is one. You just sometimes need a little help to see one!:)
About Inna’s Qualifications:
Inna qualified in the healing discipline of Acupuncture, Chinese and Western Medicine from the Lansdowne College of Acupuncture. As a professional practitioner, Inna further developed her skills by moving to China for further studies at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. In China, Inna availed of the opportunity to practice acupuncture at four leading Hospitals of Beijing, mastering the art of Chinese Medicine
Inna specializes in Women’s health helping women through each stage of pregnancy, from pre-conception care and support during infertility treatments, through pregnancy and birth, to successful post natal care.
She continually enhances her knowledge and skills in the different spheres of Chinese Medicine treatments.
