I have had five sessions of acupuncture for severe daily migraines which I have been unable to treat with medications and massage for years. This has worked. I saw a considerable reduction in daily headaches to having two in four weeks. I have not had one since last week. I had a combination of reflexology and acupuncture today which was an excellent service. I would recommend this therapist. She seems to be very experienced. I wish I had visited her sooner.

I’m frequently asked the question “What is the difference between an Osteopath and a Chiropractor?”.I some times wonder “What is the difference between two Osteopaths?”.Both Osteopathy and Chiropractic came into being in the USA in the 1880's.Both Chiropractic and Osteopathy use Spinal Manipulation.Both Professions have developed more subtle forms of treatment such as Applied Kinesiology (Chiro.), Cranio-Sacral Osteopathy and Visceral Manipulation (Osteo.).Currently, in the USA, Osteopaths are considered the same as Medical Doctors. They are very different to British Osteopaths, who still work in the traditional way, i.e. Hands on.Chiropractors in the USA work the same way as they do in the UK.Osteopaths train at one of 3 full time schools in and around London, doing a 4 year degree.Chiropractors train at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, doing a 5 year Degree.Both professions have overseas graduates working in the UK.Differences between these two Professions can be difficult to identify.I know members of both professions who see patients very frequently, having them pay large sums of money up front.I also know Chiropractors and Osteopaths who are very genuine, honest and caring people. Very knowledgeable and skilled in their professions.Interestingly, as I attend Courses, I find it pleasing to find I’m sharing my time with Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths and many other people in my line of work.Personally, if I were in Pain, and needed treatment, I would look for the best recommendation by “Word of Mouth” and not be too concerned whether they were a Chiropractor or an Osteopath.

I hadn’t been to this practice for a number of years but was always impressed with treatment. This time I was suffering from persistent discomfort in my right leg below the knee when walking/running. The problem was diagnosed as due to an irritated nerve, and not considered a long term issue. Since my visit, the condition has improved.

I attended Jacqueline over ten years ago when I lived in Dublin. I attended various acupuncture clinics since moving elsewhere. No one comes close to Jacqueline. She is in a league of her own. I only wish I lived near her clinic again. Cannot recommend her highly enough!

Chinese Medicine Theory states that there are a number of organ systems within the human body which need to interact in harmony with each other and the outside environment in order to maintain physical balance, and that loss of this harmony results in illness. I was very impressed with the makeover of the building of Total Health. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The first visit was free whilst Neil assessed my needs as he explained what the main issue was and we agreed on a treatment plan. I was given exercises to do which was explained and was given a printed instructions and pictures to follow. I had 3 visits to Neil who was friendly and professorial at all times. I was also advised of items to purchase to help with my issues. I would recommend Neil to anyone.
