About Tatjana Simakova Psychotherapy Services
I hold a BA in Counselling Skills and Psychotherapy from ICHAS and a certificate in Art Therapy from the CIT Crawford College of Arts and Design where I am also currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy. I practice adhering to the guidelines and Code of Ethics of the APCP.
I presently work as a private psychotherapist with adults and young people as well as a group facilitator.
In my professional journey, I successfully worked with various issues that impact on people’s lives. These issues include relationship problems, stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts and self-harm, new direction in life, self-identity and other.
I use humanistic and integrative approaches in psychotherapy, drawing from multiple theories and approaches to offer the best and most suitable counselling experience to the client. In psychotherapy, I use Person-Centred Counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), NLP Techniques, Mindfulness, Creativity and Art Therapy.
I have developed Mindfulness Through Art Workshops, a six-week program designed to help the participants to connect with their subconscious mind, reprogram negative or unwanted thoughts and habits, learn how to set and reach worthy goals, and unleash the creative force and power within.
