Assessment and treatment, CBT or EMDR available. Children's sessions up to 45mins. Parent can be present during session. Common issues include; anxiety, OCD, self-harm, anger, sleep disturbance. Children seen at all 3 venues. Sessions available during school holidays.

Individual Stress MOT available in-house. Organization Stress Audit available. Executive 1-to-1 Stress Plan available.

I use mindfulness-based CBT, focusing on a humanistic approach which is integrative. My approaches are always patient-centred, solution-focused and tend (mostly) to be brief-therapy oriented. I do also provide psychodynamic treatment when appropriate.

I provide couples therapy. Some couples, prior to starting couples therapy, may wish to have one 1-to-1 session with me, but this is not a pre-requisite.

A wide range of traumas can trigger PTSD including issues from childhood or adult life:

These include any abuse (physical, emotional or sexual), rape, road traffic crash, serious illnesses, death of relative or pet, explosions, personal attacks/violence, divorce of parents, bullying or mobbing, job loss, loss or change of status etc. etc.

Depression is a common problem in the UK. I used mindfulness-based CBT approaches to treat depression. Depression often involves medium-term to longer-term treatment and can be undertaken either medication-free or whilst taking anti-depressant medication.
