Biography:
Dr Stuart Sadler qualified from the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Newcastle University in 2007. He has experience of working with a variety of difficulties relating to adjustment and psychological distress including stress, anxiety, panic, depression, sleep disorders, bereavement, low self-esteem and confidence, and physical health difficulties. In 2012, Stuart also graduated from Glasgow University with a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Neuropsychology and in 2014 completed the Foundation Certificate in Systemic and Family Therapy. He has also attended courses on treating obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, chronic worry and insomnia/sleep problems to name but a few. Stuart believes that his training and experience in delivering specialist Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and CBT for insomnia (CBT-I), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), solution focused and systemic approaches, mindfulness, and positive psychology all help address his client’s difficulties in a more comprehensive way than might be offered by any single modality.
