Painful musculoskeletal and neurological conditions and sports injuries are treated by a team of chartered physiotherapists at these two clinics located at Wakefield and Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. The aim of the team at both clinics is to restore the normal function of patients in the shortest possible time and prevent the condition or injury from recurring. Very helpful indeed. Biomechanical assessment carried out on my son George, 14 years, into determining possible underlying pathology to explain h/o recurrent injuries to both knees. Recommendation - orthotic insole to be worn for all footwear.

Biography:
Garry has both Sports Science and Physiotherapy degrees, and specialises in sports / musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with nearly 20 years experience.
During the past 12 years Garry has been working with elite sports people, holding the position of Head physiotherapist for various Super League rugby teams, including Bradford Bulls, Wakefield Wildcats and Huddersfield Giants. He has also been fortunate enough to work with the World Champion Gymnastic team here at Wakefield, for the last 5 years, travelling with them to each competition.
Garry maintains a very keen interest in sport, in both prevention of injuries and the rapid recovery expected and required in professional sport, which he also carries over to all his clients. Garry, along with all the physios at TheraSport, adopts a very ‘Hands on’ approach, and will push people to their limit, thinking nothing of making some patients cry (in a most caring way of course!!). After all, no pain – no gain!

Ms Eva Slade

Biography:
Eva qualified in 1995 from Bradford University, and after an initial period of working within the NHS, set up TheraSport with husband Garry. Eva specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, especially whiplash, backs and necks, and general arthritic conditions. Eva is qualified in acupuncture and enjoys the challenge of assessing the whole picture not just the injured area. In 2003, Eva also branched out into Equine physiotherapy, and so splits her time between the human and equine clients, so make sure you book into the right clinic!
