About Yorkshire Physiotherapy Network - Laurel's Clinic

A high emphasis on manual techniques to help treat musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries through physiotherapy is offered by this group of physiotherapy clinics. The clinics run by the group are located in Meanwood, Garforth, Farsely and the John Charles centre for Sports in Leeds. Services provided at all clinics include manual physiotherapy mobilization and manipulation, acupuncture and electro acupuncture, sports massage, Pilates, electrotherapy, reeducation and relaxation, podiatry, chiropody, sports massage and an injury management programme.

Excellent care and a good knowledge to everything. Really patient and really considered my needs. I've only marked the price down slightly, as I paid £25 at my last clinic in Newcastle.

Johnny qualified from the University of Gloucestershire in 2000 having studied Sports Science and Business but instead of pursuing a career along these lines decided to further his studies, choosing Physiotherapy at the University of Bradford, qualifying in 2003. Since then he has worked at Bradford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Private Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinics, the Nuffield Hospital in Huddersfield, and more recently in his own clinic. Nigel has built up a good professional reputation having practiced on a wide variety of sports clients, as well as clients from everyday life, ensuring a high standard of treatment and maintenance of fitness and wellbeing.

Tomas started working as a physiotherapist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and progressed to a senior level within Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. Simon is also fully qualified in acupuncture (AACP registered) and is a qualified fitness instructor. Experience Simon worked as a Physiotherapist in the Bradford NHS Foundation Trust and progressed to work as a Senior Physiotherapist within Dewsbury’s Mid Yorkshire Trust musculoskeletal department specialising in shoulder injuries. Chris graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences. He then completed a BSc (Hons) degree in physiotherapy at the University of Salford, and as part of his ongoing development was admitted to the degree of MSc (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy) at the University of Bradford in 2009. Chris is also a fully qualified Acupuncture practitioner and is registered with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP). Experience Chris has been employed within the NHS at Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust since qualifying, and has progressed to heading a team of nine staff in their Orthopaedic Gymnasium, providing sports injury and Orthopaedic rehabilitation services. As part of his leadership role in the NHS, Chris has worked alongside Bradford’s Orthopaedic surgeons to develop a number of post-operative rehabilitation protocols, based on the latest research evidence. He also provides Orthopaedic Triage services, assessing patients to refer into the soft tissue knee and ankle surgical services. In 2010, Chris opened his own Physiotherapy clinic in Huddersfield – North Light Physiotherapy – which has since provided Physiotherapy services in the surrounding areas.
