Alison trained at the Prince of Wales Hospital in London and has worked at St.Peter’s Chertsey, The Rowley Bristow, Frimley Park (where she met Christina) and Matthews Allen in Guildford.

She most likes to treat spinal problems, sports injuries, musculo skeletal injuries and post-operative spinal rehabilitation. Alison is also trained in Upledger cranio-sacral treatment and enjoys using this gentle but effective form of treatment for many conditions.

In any spare time, she enjoys cooking, dancing, walking, Pilates and likes to travel to interesting, historical places, especially with good food and wine!

Biography:

Christina has thirty years experience as a physiotherapist. She trained at the Middlesex hospital in London, and is also a post graduate member of the Society of Orthopaedic medicine. Her special interests are in musculoskeletal injuries, particularly those affecting the neck and shoulders.
Before developing Hillview Physiotherapy, Christina worked in various outpatient settings both in both the NHS and private sectors. She is qualified in acupuncture and uses this, where appropriate, to complement her holistic approach towards physiotherapy.

Married with two grown-up children, she enjoys Pilates, tai chi, tennis and golf in her spare time.

Ben trained at the University of Brighton and works both here at Hillview Physiotherapy and also at Ashford & St. Peters Hospital, specialising in orthopaedics. He also previously worked at Western Sussex Hospitals and in private practice at Handsford Sports Injury Clinic. Ben has also worked with elite athletes within the academy at Fulham Football club and also at non-league Bognor Regis Town Football Club.

A keen sportsman, Ben particularly enjoys squash, badminton and golf and loves to treat all sports injuries. Football is a passion too, both playing & coaching 5 & 11 a-side, and Ben has coached a local under 14s side for over 7 years. In his spare time, Ben likes to go to the gym and loves to travel.

Andrea graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1996. She has worked in various settings since then, currently combining her work here with working in a private hospital. She is happy treating all musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries with a specialist interest in neck, head and face pain treatment. She is trained in Acupuncture and a fully certified Pilates teacher.

Andrea enjoys training for triathlons, combining swimming, cycling and running with ferrying her daughter around for all her activities.

Anne qualified from St Mary’s Paddington in 1987 and works both at Hillview and in the NHS. Her specialist areas are treatment of musculoskeletal problems, particularly spinal conditions (backs & necks). She has a lot of experience in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions including those that require conservative management and those that need working up for surgery & post-operative surgery. Anne has a special interest in lower limb rehabilitation eg post fracture, ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy & sports injuries.

Anne has 2 teenage children and as a family, they are all involved in competitive sport.

Andi has worked at St Peters Hospital Chertsey, Woking Community Hospital and West Byfleet Physiotherapy Clinic. Specialising in musculoskeletal outpatients, sports injuries and community physiotherapy, Andi loves the huge variety of problems we see in Clinic and in the community. She believes it keeps her on her toes as does driving her family around to various sporting and social events.

Lauren decided to become a physiotherapist after lengthy rehabilitation following a spinal injury. She graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2011 and started her career working in Whipps Cross Hospital in London. She then specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and currently holds a senior position at Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals.

Lauren has a sporting background in athletics and weightlifting and has competed in both to a national level. She uses a holistic approach to physiotherapy and has post-graduate training in acupuncture, Pilates and manipulative therapy.

When she is not training she enjoys reading, cooking and is an amateur cake baker!

She completed her Masters degree in advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Kings College London and is also qualified in acupuncture.

She has a special interest in pathology of the shoulder and foot as well as ante-natal and post-natal conditions. However she has a wide range of experience in all areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

She has two toddlers so life is full of role-play, jumping in puddles and trying to make vegetables look appealing. However there is still a little time left for her to indulge in cycling, drawing and Pilates.
