Barrie-Jon Mulder

Biography:
Career began when he represented South Africa at a junior level.

After years of competition his target turned to coaching and has worked with the best in the business in terms of Strength and Conditioning coaches as well as Olympic Gold medalists and Weightlifting Olympians.

Barrie-Jon’s unrivaled knowledge of everything S&C helps him get the most out of both everyday Joe public as well as Athletes looking to perform at the top of their game.

Will Harvey

Biography:
Has been involved in both playing and coaching sport from a very young age.

He has competed at a high standard in Aussie Rules Football (AFL), Soccer and Triathlons before starting his personal training career in 2004 in Melbourne, Australia.

After retiring from AFL, Will moved over to the UK to continue working in the fitness world building his client portfolio and co-found The Athlete Centre.

He currently trains amateur and professional sports people and business professionals. Will is passionate about fitness, health and diet, helping to assist people to reach their goals and will regularly be seen leading a Crossfit class.

James Shields

Biography:
Began his fitness career in the British Army and in 2007 decided to turn his attention to personal training.

James has competed in many sports including Rugby, Basketball, Bodybuilding and Strong Athlete. He has trained rugby teams, professional athletes and everyone in between.

In 2011 James opened Oxford’s first personal training studio in North Oxford, and then went on to co-found The Athlete Centre in 2013. James’s goal is to assist in improving the health and fitness of Oxford’s community and will be a favourite with the “get it done” crowd.
