About Juliette Cottam Physiotherapy and Pilates

Juliette is a Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor.  She is passionate about optimising health and function and addressing each individual's needs and goals. 

"Our goal for treatment is to integrate the benefits of both Physiotherapy techniques and Pilates exercise to create lasting changes in your body function."

The client will feel empowered by the treatment and able to influence the benefits felt and have the tools to maintain them.  Treatment is not only about receiving hands on therapy but aims to be an experiential education process hence the phrase 'intelligent exercise, profound results'.

I have always been very pleased with the treatment provided

5 50 Sports Massage

I completed 6 marathons in 6 days and an injury stopped me running the 7th marathon. I decided to see Juliette, I have seen her several times before and always pleased with the results. Juliette diagnosed a tendon injury on my ankle that should heal with time and not serious. Juliette also gave me some exercises to do to realign my feet biomechanics. Juliette also provided some massage relief to the area. Another great visit.

Biography:

Juliette (HPC registered) qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1997, gaining a first class degree in Physiotherapy from Birmingham University. This complimented her existing degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences.  Juliette worked within the NHS prior to specialising in Musculoskeletal out patients.   She has worked within many sporting fields including National league netball and hockey, the Sydney 2000 Paralympics and the British Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships 2008 and 2009.

Juliette began training with Polestar Pilates in 2000.  She has since taught Pilates and integrated it’s principles and techniques with her Physiotherapy work.
