Several days later I am still pain free following Myofascial Release Acupuncture

5 50 Myofascial Release • Paid: £40

Having travelled to Scotland for a tennis match, I started to suffer from severe back pain. The following morning I telephoned a few clinics and Bruntsfield Clinic offered me an appointment the same day at lunchtime. I was treated by Edel McCann who did Myofascial release acupuncture and this worked magically for me. Not only was I able to play the match without pain but several days later I am still pain free. Thank you Edel for your great treatment.

I found the clinic efficient, clean, punctual and professional, added to which the treatment was fantastic and well worth the £40. The diagnosis was thorough and careful. Very successful in all aspects. If I lived in Edinburgh I would visit whenever necessary.

I was delighted with everything

5 50 Acupuncture Treatment

After suffering severe back/hip pain, I was given acupuncture with Adele which worked miraculously so that I was able to play my tennis match without pain the next day. The clinic managed to fit me in very quickly so I was delighted with everything. Thank you so much.

Lesley graduated from Grampian School of Physiotherapy in 1984 with a diploma in physiotherapy. Since graduating she has worked mainly in private practice after an initial three years in the NHS. Lesley has specialised in Musculoskeletal outpatients for over 20 years and has been involved in treating international swimmers, professional tennis players, junior rugby players and squash players. Shona graduated from Queen Margaret University in 2004 with BSc (Hons) in physiotherapy. Since then she has worked within the NHS and private practice in various rotational and static posts, as well as working with amateur rugby teams and treating individual private patients. These experiences have enabled her to bring a wide variety of skills and expertise to the Musculoskeletal setting.

To expand her skills she has also completed additional training in Acupuncture, dry needling and has completed a masters in Musculoskeletal medicine specialising in chronic low back pain.

Dr Stephen Miller, our sports medicine consultant is a GP partner in Edinburgh with a special interest in 

musculoskeletal medicine. He has completed the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine’s Diploma and Membership examination, and is working towards Middlesex University’s MSc in Musculoskeletal Medicine.  

Outside of work his passions are sport, adventure and the outdoors. He also has a diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine and is currently one of the club doctors for Hibernian Football Club.
