About ProPhysio East Leake

Chartered physiotherapists treat patients suffering from painful musculoskeletal and neurological conditions and sports injuries at these two clinics located at Loughborough and Ashby de la Zouch in Leicestershire. The aim of the team at both clinics is to help patients recover from their injuries or conditions in the shortest possible time, restore their normal function and prevent the condition or injury from recurring. Conditions treated include backache, muscle and joint pain, sports injuries and arthritis related aches and pains. Graduated in 1992 from the University of Nottingham with BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy.
Competed internationally in the discus event, including the Commonwealth Games in 1990 and carried the flag for Scotland in 1994.
Member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
Member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Occupational Health.
Has spent 18 years working with patients of all ages and abilities, from elite runners preparing to do marathons to a 75 year old lady recovering from knee surgery.

Gained an MSc in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Sheffield Hallam University in 2010.
Spent 6 years working with the M.O.D. working with fast jet pilots so specialised in treating pain and sports injuries.
Member of MMACP, AACP and ACPSM
Specialises in Acupuncture, Manipulation and Sports Medicine.
She has two young children.
Enjoys horse-riding, skiing, swimming and general fitness.

Currently physio for elite endurance athletes at Loughborough High Performance Centre.
Recent events involved in: World Duathlon Championships 2010; World Junior Cross country Holding Camp 2010; Pre-Commonwealth Games Altitude Camp – Font Romeu 2010; UK Athletics High Altitude Training Camp – Kenya 2011.
