Lisa Casey is a Chartered Physiotherapist who trained at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. I have worked in the NHS, private practice and in an elite sporting environment for the last 13 years. I was also a physiotherapy volunteer at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games and London 2012 Olympics. I am currently undergoing Pilates Matwork Instructor training with APPI .
I have a post-graduate certificate in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and specialise in the management of all forms of musculoskeletal disorders.
I can also assess and treat a wide spectrum of sports injuries- from acute to chronic to post-operative orthopaedic management and rehabilitation of both upper and lower limb injuries. I have worked with a variety of clients from elite sports people to the non-athletic population- any age or ability- with the aim of returning the athlete- elite or recreational- to their sport of choice.
I also have a current pitchside, medical and cardiac skills qualification recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh – equivalent to Level 3 course in World Rugby immediate care framework
