James qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1999 with a Master’s Degree from Glasgow Caledonian University having first completed a BSc (Hons) Biochemistry degree from Cardiff University. He worked within the University Hospital of Wales and quickly specialised in Musculoskeletal Medicine. His training continued at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol, Chelsea and Westminster and Queen Marys Hospital in London. James has been a team physiotherapist for the Welsh Womens Hockey Association and worked within both hospital and community settings. He is specifically interested in the management & assessment of spinal problems and occupational health.

After 10 years in the health service Virginia went into private practice in London and the midlands before moving to Cardiff in 2003. Alyson qualified from Cardiff School of Physiotherapy in 1987. She worked for Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust for 22 years. She specialises in Musculoskeletal Medicine and has held a number of positions including Superintendent Physiotherapist at Chepstow Hospital and later in Musculoskeletal Outpatients at St Woolos Hospital, Newport. She has completed numerous post graduate courses in acupuncture, muscle imbalance, Cyriax & McKenzie concepts. Alyson joined James Rind Physiotherapy in 2009, she specialises in the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions including sports injuries and degenerative conditions.
