Simon Hogan
Biography:
I graduated from Brunel University in 2002 and worked as a junior physiotherapist in London for the NHS. This role involved working closely with orthopaedic surgeons in the treatment and rehabilitation of traumatic injuries. After a year I took up a post to specialise in musculoskeletal and sports injuries and gained experience working alongside a team of highly experienced clinicians now involved in lecturing and research in the UK and Australia.
I moved up North in 2006 with my now wife and took up a senior clinical post in the NHS whilst also working in private clinics. I began studying part time for my Masters degree in Manual Therapy in 2009 whilst juggling my post as a shoulder and spinal clinical specialist treating problems that other clinicians had been unable to resolve but did not require surgery.
I am currently just finishing off the last parts of my Masters degree having squeezed in a wedding, having a baby and setting up the business. I have also completed the course to become a fully trained Pilates instructor.
