My story with Dr Gökhan Kırdar I began experiencing an L4-L5 herniated disc in March, which was initially manageable with physiotherapy and electrode sessions at a local clinic. Although these treatments provided temporary relief, the underlying issue persisted. An MRI at Birinci Hospital confirmed a severe herniation, and surgery was recommended as the only option, though further physiotherapy was suggested first. As my daily commute and activities continued, my condition worsened, with my standing time reduced to just five minutes. During the June Eid holidays, the pain became unbearable.
