Always passionate about sport, not a competitive practice at different kinds of sports activities (cycling, athletics, skiing). Become a specialist in Sports Medicine with honors in 1995 from the University of Milan with a thesis on overload pathologies of the cyclist, conducted in collaboration with the Center for Biomedical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano.
