The Shannonside Physiotherapy Clinic is a ground floor clinic with wheelchair access throughout. We are a bright and friendly clinic in the centre of Newmarket on Fergus. Ample free street parking is available. We offer flexible out of hours opening times and a friendly and professional service tailored to the needs of our clients who range from international athletes to senior citizens.

Coslia Podiatry is Clare's leading specialist Podiatry Clinic.  Established in 1991by Podiatrist John Weir.  this clinic is at the forefront of modern Podiatry techniques.  Service available include gait and pressure analysis and orthotic fabrication, we also provide additional adjunctive therapies including acupuncture/dry needling, Foot Mobilisation Therapy and local massage techniques to help relieve patient symptoms.  The clinic also provides a full range of podiatry and chiropody treatments for relief of common foot complaints e.g. corns, callous, ingrowing toenails etc. The clinic is led by Mr John Weir, who is a Podiatrist with extensive clinical practice.  John qualified from the northern Ireland School of Podiatry in 1986 and has continued extensive post graduate training in his profession.  He has a masters degree from Staffordshire University in Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics (2006).  John also has advanced Podiatric Acupuncture qualifications as well as masters level qualifications in Foot Mobilisation Therapy.  He regularly attends courses and conventions in order to keep his CPD portfolio up to date.   Tara McMahon is the practice manager and comes to Coslia with a wealth of experience in the Finance Sector and is an invaluable member of our team.   The practice has its own in house orthotics laboratory which is ISO. compliant producing medical devices to The clinic has an extensive range of New Feet medical footwear which is eminently suitable for

We are senior physiotherapists, proud to bring a new service to people in the West Clare area. We are fully registered, fully insured members of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists. Our main therapist is Francoise Lauton, a French qualified Physio with Post Graduate qualification in Paediatrics. Francoise has 30 years of experience in all areas of physiotherapy, twelve of which in Ireland. She has worked in neonatal, paediatric and adult intensive care units, children and adult neurology rehabilitation centres. She was the Early Intervention physiotherapist for the HSE in North Tipperary for three years. In 2011, the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (US name for physiotherapy) listed her as a World Expert in Paediatric Physiotherapy. Aside from treating children, Francoise specializes in Neurology, Respiratory, Biomechanics, Lymphatic Drainage and Orthotic insoles. She also takes care of neck or low back pain and general musculoskeletal conditions. We are located in the Ennistymon Medical Centre, on the first floor, one level below the Dental Clinic. Wheelchair access is through the GP's waiting room. Our clinic will be open on Tuesdays and Fridays  from 2.00 to 6.00 PM. Hours might be extended depending on demand. Home visit available within a 5km radius on referral from GP.
