About Oxford Orthotic Clinic

Cost effective orthotic services are provided at this specialist clinic located at Beech Road in Oxford. The team runs a branch clinic at Banbury. Biography:
Andrew is our lead clinician, he has 15 years of experience covering a wide varienty of conditions and orthoses. He graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 1998 with a BSc(Hons) Prosthetics and Orthotics. After a brief spell working in Portsmouth he moved to Oxford and became the lead clinicain of one of the largest orthotic centres in England. He has a specialist interest in lower limb biomechanics and recently completed an MSc in Applied Biomechanics. Gait analysis is a specialism having provided orthotic opinion for the Oxford Gait Laboratory and has undertaken training from the European Society for Movement Analysis in Children (ESMAC). Andrew specializes in custom made orthotics that maximizes support yet minimize bulk and encumbrance. He has close links with Orthopaedic, Sports injury and Rheumatology Consultants; Physiotherapists and GPs.
