Having contemplated surgery for a really long time due to having a medical condition called thrombocytopenia, I finally decided the time was right and had a consultation with Mr Awf Quaba. From initial email enquiry, to consultation and surgery, the entire process was absolutely faultless and I was made to feel extremely reassured throughout the entire process. Due to my thrombocytopenia the procedure was far more complex than a standard mastopexy procedure as I required a platelet transfusion before and after surgery along with an overnight stay in hospital, a number of consultants and nurses were involved in this process and I honestly can’t thank them all enough. My safety and care was absolutely paramount and I felt this from everyone who was involved in my care. I am absolutely delighted with the outcome and cannot thank everyone involved enough.
