This will be followed by an osteopathic examination. The osteopath will ask you to perform some gentle, simple movements whilst assessing muscle and joint quality to feel for any irregularities. Based on the information gathered in the examination the osteopath will arrive at a diagnosis. An explanation of the cause of the current problem will be provided and any remaining questions will be answered.  The osteopath will then proceed, with the patient's consent, to provide appropriate treatment.
