An initial assessment and diagnosis of the patient’s condition including ultrasound scanning and biomechanical assessment is conducted at first. We are full members of the Institute of Sports & Remedial Massage, the Sports Massage Association, the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council and the General Council for Massage therapy. In addition, we are qualified Sports Therpists, affiliated to the Sports Therapy Organisation. Working primarily from our dedicated treatment room in St Albans, Hertfordshire, we also offer a mobile service visiting clients (subject to access and parking). Alternatively, we are available through the BodyBalance Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic within the Hertfordshire Sports Village at the University of Hertfordshire, Hatfield. Karen and Nick are both Sports Massage Practitioners for the eastern region of the English Institute of Sport, the Herts Sports Partnership, TASS and are recognised PruHealth providers. We are both actively involved in sport and have used our own experiences to provide a higher level of treatment and expertise.
