University of Gloucestershire – BSc Hons Sports Science,

Diploma in personal training Sports massage,

Aston Villa FC,

Swindon Town FC,

UWIC Archers,

Welsh Football Trust,

Celtic Crusaders,

BWICC, Bristol Academy of Sport

Dazell has always been in and around elite sports settings, whether it be representing Gloucestershire C.C.C. or working for professional football teams. After missing out on a career as a professional cricketer Dazell’s passion for sport continued to grow but took an academic route. Dazell is now a performance analyst with a difference as he is able to combine all the facets of his BSc Hons in sport science and MSc in performance analysis and is a firm believer in the coaching process, he has vast experience within his field, working with many different sports teams/organisations both applied and academically with skills applicable to all individual and team sports.

“Research has found that professional coaches can only recall 30% of the key events in sporting performance. As a performance analyst it is my responsibility to feedback the remaining 70% to the coaches, team or individual. This is achieved by combining statistical analysis with video footage, allowing a permanent record of events to be recorded and stored so feedback is based on what ‘actually’ happened.”
