LASIK on both eyes

After i took the decision to make a LASIK I went to many doctors, but nobody could really convince me. Then I was flying with the plane and saw an article about Sehkraft Vienna. And i thought that they look very professional. And indeed it was like that. In the first step I had a very detailed medical check and then they took all my worries. I felt from the beginning in very good hands. The surgery was done in more, less 15 minutes and I could see immediately. It was just amazing! I am still very happy about the result and about the choice of Sehkraft. Never met such a great medical team acting so professional, friendly and capable. Starting from the first phone call until today, one year later. Thank you, Sehkraft!

Cataract Treatment

 The cataract surgery is the exchange of the clouded natural lens by a highly modern artificial lens - it is the most frequent and successful treatment in eye surgery. It is the only way to cure the disease and restore a clear vision. Around 15 million such interventions are performed annually.
Many years of experience, well-trainied surgeons and most advanced lenses have made the procedures extremely successfull, gentle and safe.

The additional use of the femtosecond laser has also opened a new chapter in cataract surgery.

 

RLE - Refractive Lens Exchange

The refractive lens exchange, also known as Clear Lens Extraction (CLE) - the natural eye lens is removed and replaced by a slightly smaller, artificial lens. The procedure is identical to the cataract operation- the most frequent surgical procedure in eye surgery. 

It is therefore extremely standardized and safe. The difference to the cataract surgery is that the lens is still relatively clear but dysfunctional, and it is exchanged to compensate high myopie, farsightedness and presbyopia.

Since 2006, Dr. Stoiber has been successful in the field of refractive surgery. In the area of Femto-LASIK, he can rely on the experience with various laser systems. Miss Liney joined our team in October 2015 in cologne. There, she supported the optician team until October 2017 in both LASIK and IOL. She refracted our LASIK patients and performed pre- and postoperative measurements. Since November 2017 Miss Liney works for our practice in Vienna.
In addition to advising the LASIK and lens patients as well as the optical measuring of the patients, she takes over the profile planning of the LASIK treatments and calculates the intraocular lenses (IOL) to be used for cataract or CLE (Clear Lens Exchange) operations.
In addition, the operation of the femtosecond laser in the IOL-OP as well as the assistance on the laser in the Lasik-OP are her tasks.
