About Life 4 Living Therapy

Here at Life 4 LivingTherapy, 

I help people just like you to overcome some of the challenges they have to face in their everyday lives.

I’ve been working as a professional therapist helping many clients with their phobias, anxieties, confidence issues, food cravings and stress challenges.

Food cravings and emotional eating are my areas of expertise and I have undertaken a lot of studying and research in this area, so that I can support my clients with even the most complicated cases.

I use a number of techniques to support my clients, including:

·    PTT – Picture Tapping Technique

·    Matrix Reimprinting

Sessions are flexible and I offer both evening and weekend appointments to fit in with my clients’busy schedules.

Anxiety - Alternative Treatment

We’ve all felt anxious before and it is a natural feeling to some extent.  For example, if you’re about to take a driving test or make a presentation, those butterflies are a normal and expected reaction. 

However, there are different levels of anxiety. And, if anxiety becomes severe, then it can have a big impact on your quality of life.

Anxiety can also have a big impact on your body.  It can affect your:

·Heart – your heart races or you may have palpitations

·Breathing – your breathing may become shallow or you could hyperventilate

·Muscles – your muscles may feel tense, fatigued and shaky

·Head – you may feel dizzy or feel a band of tension around your head

·Bladder – you may need to use the toilet more often

And if anxiety is impacting on your life to the point where you feel like it is controlling you, then perhaps it’s time you talked to a professional. 

Confidence Building - Alternative Techniques

Like most of the other challenges life throws at us, low confidencecan impact on so much of our day-to-day lives.  

And so one of the first things I do for clients who come to me with this issue, is to discover the reasons behind their low self-image and self-esteem.

Lacking in confidence can stem from:

·childhood – influential adults can say things to children so often that it becomes ingrained in their personality.

·changes in circumstances – many stay-at-home mothers feel they lose confidence after giving up work as do people who retire.

·bad experiences – whether you’ve been bullied at work, school or at home, if someone repeatedly tells you how worthless you are, you start to believe them.

So, if you want to stop feeling unhappy with yourself, get rid of the ideas that you’re second best to everyone else and you want to start enjoying some of the wonderful things that life has to offer,then why don’t you talk to me.

EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique

EFT often works when nothing else will.  This energy psychology technique has been used successfully on a wide range of emotional and physical conditions: 

including anxiety, addictive cravings, depression, traumatic memories, phobias, pain control, stress, disease and personal performance. It has the ability to bring quick and permanent relief.  It can be used for virtually anything and has a high success rate.
