Her passion is to help empower her clients to take control of their health and well-being. She offers a wide range of complimentary holistic therapies and uses the latest energy medicine technologies. This helps her clients accelerate their achievement of optimal health and vitality. Born in Whitley Bay and now living in Gloucestershire, she originally studied Food Science in Manchester and have over 15 year’s experience within the food industry, working with what she describes as the sweets and treats including Coca-Cola and Wall’s Ice Cream. Kirsty is passionate about nutrition and its link to health, together with a love of complimentary holistic therapies including Reiki, Aromatherapy, Homeopathy, Bach flowers, Acupressure and Crystals. She returned to studying in 2010 at Bristol University to complete her Masters in Nutrition, Physical Activity & Public Health. It was these studies, along with her own experience of health and weight management, that helped her appreciate the limitations of conventional medical practice in dealing with the current health challenges of our modern lifestyle. She recognises illness or ‘dis-ease’ is a complex combination of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual issues which are also heavily influenced by the nutritional, lifestyle, psychological, environmental and social factors. Her searching and researching of all the scientific, evidence based treatment protocols available, brought her into contact with the Counterweight organisation, who are specialists in weight management; the Institute of Integrative Medicine (IFIM) in USA with whom she continues her functional medicine studies and NutriVital Health who are leading the way in the UK in natural health and energy medicine technologies. They have all been fundamental to the development of therapies and treatments she now provides for her clients. By working with each person’s bio-individuality and identifying the underlying root cause of ill health she aims to heal the ‘whole’ person not just the symptoms Kirsty has a home-based practice in Cheltenham as well as practicing at various locations within Gloucestershire. Her equipment is fully portable, allowing both home, hospital and other location based visits, as well as offering remote consultations via SKYPE and surrogate testing using hair or nail samples. She has featured recently in the Cotswold Preview magazine and is regularly invited onto local BBC radio to support healthy eating in Gloucestershire.
