Shalomis more then just simply peace; it is a complete peace. It is a feeling ofcontentment, completeness, wholeness, well being, harmony, health, peace,welfare, safety, soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness,rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord.

Reiki is a Japanese techniquefor stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It isadministered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that anunseen "life force energy" flows through us.
Meaning of theword Reiki compounds the words rei (:spirit, miraculous, divine) and ki ( vital energy, breath of life, consciousness). The ki (better knownas Chinese or ch'i) in reiki is understoodas meaning, spiritual energy; vital energy; life force; energy of life.

Indian Head Massage is part of an ancient Indian medical system, Ayuveda,believed to be the oldest medical system in the world. It aim to restorebalance and inner harmony to mind, body and spirit, improving health andprolonging life. Ayuveda recommends the use of massage, mainly to improve bloodcirculation and expel toxins from the body.
Indian women practiced headmassage as part of their grooming, initially limiting it to the head and hair,with the objective of keeping hair in beautiful condition. Barbers alsopracticed, combining haircuts with “champi” (head massage). The tradition wasbrought to the west by Narendra Mehta, a therapist who grew up in India and trained in England as a physiotherapist in the1970s. Disappointed that massage in England did not extend to the head,he formalized techniques for head massage to include the neck, shoulders andupper arms as well as the head, combining massage with Ayurvedic elements ofenergy points or charkas, creating a therapy he called Indian Champissage. Itis based on acupressure massage, and its benefits are felt throughout the body.The upper arms, shoulders, neck, head and face are massaged to promoterelaxation and relieve tension.
