He was a very patient listener and extremely understandingBishan, India, 16 06 23Hello, buddies! I can't thank Medispa Hair Transplant Clinic enough for correcting my unsuccessful hair transplant treatment.
Imagine having to live with hair loss, social anxiety, a lack of confidence in public and private spaces, a sense of perpetual emptiness, and inadequacy before deciding to have a hair transplant. Spending time, money, and energy before learning that my treatment was unsuccessful required me to wait for approximately 14 months. Sounds difficult and frustrating? Yes, I have lived that way.
I work as a financial manager for an MNC in Gurugram. I am 42 years old. I first saw my hair thinning around my temples when I was 35 years old, and by the time I was 37, I could clearly see that the threat of hair loss had cast its evil eye on me. As usual, I began using cosmetics like ayurvedic hair oil, a few lotions, conditioners, shampoos, etc. but quickly understood that these items were hardly useful in treating hair loss but just served to empty one's pocket. I learned in-depth information on the techniques that may be used to treat hair loss through internet research and print ads.
Although at first, I wasn't sure whether to have a surgical operation done or not, there are no other options if one must live with permanent hair loss. I made my first and largest error, though, when I decided to choose clinics based only on price after being overconfident from those advertisements that said a hair transplant was a fairly straightforward process. I had no idea that I was entering the most trying time of my life.
To cut a long story short, my first hair transplant procedure was a complete failure. My hair started growing so poorly that I began to resemble a doll's head and gave up hope. It seemed as though there was no other way to deal with my hair loss. Then, through a friend, I learned that hair transplant restoration procedures were available, and he advised me to contact Dr Suneet Soni right away. In hindsight, I can't express enough gratitude to my pal.
I made an appointment right away with Dr Suneet Soni's Medispa Hair transplant clinic in New Delhi. He was a very patient listener and extremely understanding. He had such a calming influence on my anxiousness that I could sense the doctor-patient connection with him right away. He thoroughly described to me the steps he would be taking. It was a tough case because my donor area had already become exhausted, but Dr Soni was really inspiring and knowledgeable. He began by promptly explaining to me what went wrong with my prior surgery and how we might improvise. He also assisted me in setting reasonable expectations for this procedure.
The cost of such treatment was the next thing he told me, and I was instantly prepared to pay it because it seemed so fair. After various lab tests, which went well in my instance, we finally scheduled a time for the surgery to take place.
The team led by Dr Suneet Soni welcomed me warmly on the day of the operation, and he explained why he had decided to utilise my chest as the donor site since the typical donor sites—the back of my neck and my sides—had been exhausted by the previous unsuccessful procedure. I had a local anaesthetic, and Dr Soni carried out the procedure, which took more than 5 hours but was mainly painless and complication-free.
After that, Dr. Soni gave me some nutritional supplements and post-surgery recommendations including sleeping with my head raised and refraining from drinking alcohol, smoking, or brushing my hair for the next week to allow the roots to recover. He also urged me to avoid direct sunshine, saunas, and swimming for a few weeks. This time, since I had already been burned once, I had to carefully adhere to all the guidelines. After about 8 to 9 months, I could see new hair growing from the transplanted follicles, and in about 14 months, I had hair that seemed nearly natural again on my scalp.
I will always be thankful to Dr Suneet Soni and the Medispa Hair Transplant team for guiding me through the dire situation of having the erroneous hair transplant procedure done. In the depressing world of hair loss patients, I will pray for them to expand, thrive, and bring more smiles.
