In the year 2007 Dr.Kamalesh joined the highly professional and skilled team of gastrointestinal surgeons in PVS Institute of Diseases in PVS Memorial Hospital, Cochin. He has gained extensive first-hand experience in assisting and performing high end and complex gastroesophageal, liver and pancreatic and colonic surgeries during this period. During this period he completed his training in gastrointestinal surgery under the auspices of the National Board of India and obtained the DNB (Gastrointestinal surgery) in PVS memorial Hospital. Dr.Kamalesh gained excellent proficiency in performing advanced laparoscopic surgeries and has performed a large number of complex laparoscopic procedures including colectomy for colonic cancer and other esophagogastric surgeries.
