Dr Tim Child

Biography:
Medical Director. Mr Child is a prominent specialist in reproductive medicine, world renowned as the leader of the team which undertook the UK’s first successful IVM cycle resulting in birth of twins in 2007. He is also the co-author of UK’s highest selling undergraduate textbook in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Impey & Child; Obstetrics and Gynaecology). In 2004 Mr Child brought his expertise to Oxford Fertility. His particular areas of interest are infertility, oocyte in-vitro maturation (IVM), recurrent miscarriage, PCOS, reproductive immunology and laparoscopic surgery with special interest in endometriosis.

Dr Muhammad Fatum

Biography:
Medical Team Manager. Dr Fatum a Specialist and Senior Fellow in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery completed his subspecialty training in reproductive medicine and surgery at Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department and IVF Center at the Hebrew University- Hadassah Hospital. Dr Fatum then completed a Research Fellowship in Reproductive Immunology at the Cellular and Molecular Immunology laboratory, Microbiology Department, Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School. He completed a three year programme of Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Oxford Fertility Unit, Institute of Reproductive Sciences and Nuffield Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the John Radcliffe Hospital/ University of Oxford . He also worked then as a Clinical Lecturer for the University of Oxford.

Dr Lee Lim

Biography:
Consultant Gynaecologist Sub-Specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery. Dr Lim graduated from the University of New South Wales in Sydney before undertaking general specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Oxford Deanery. Dr Lim’s areas of special interest include minimal invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery plus preimplantation genetic screening services. She was nominated for British Fertility Society Best Young Clinician Award (2000), British Fertility Society Best Young Scientist Award (2003) and European Society of Human Reproduction & Embryology Best Young Clinician Award (2004).
