IVF (In vitro fertilization) is a process of insemination outside the woman’s body. The whole procedure takes the following steps: Hormon Stimulation of the ovaries - pharmacologically stimulated cycle, by controlling the hormones level, ovaries are caused to produce few or several oocytes (eggs) at the same timePuncture of the ovaries - when the ovarian follicles reach the appropriate size, the so-called aspiration is being carried out (that is, the mature oocytes are being retrieved from the ovaries and then transferred to the incubator)Embryo transfer to the uterus
