Dr. Marta Slaidiņa specializes in the diagnostics and treatment of infertility for couples from Latvia and abroad. Performs diagnostics and treatment of infertility, examination and treatment of gynaecological illnesses, observation of pregnant patients, gynaecological and fetal ultrasound.

Gynecologist-reproductologist

Dr. Oksana Babula is highly qualified reproductologist. Now working in Latvia, she also gained a lot of experience in the USA. Dr. Babula got a very prestige FIGO funding to study and work in Cornell University. Only one gynecologist is the whole world get this funding once in a year. Oksana practiced in famous Hollywood clinic and has quite a number of scientific publications — she was the one that discovered MBL or mannose binding lectin mutation’s correlation with chronical vaginal fungal infections.

During her practice she has developed a holistic approach that combines newest technologies with natural healing methods. She really can find an individual approach for every patient.   

Gynecologist – reproductologist, obstetrics specialist

Consults patients about gynaecological diseases, specializes in infertility treatment and management of high-risk pregnancies. Performs minor gynaecological surgery. Regularly improves professional knowledge at international workshops and congresses. Member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).

Urologist, andrologist, abdominal organs and blood vessels ultrasound expert

Consults erectile problems, fertility issues, and STDs. Performs ultrasound and dopplerography examinations of male genitals (including prostate, testicles and penis), as well as urinary tract, ultrasound supervised biopsy of prostate, also minimally-invasive urological surgeries (including endoscopy), surgical treatment of male infertility – TESA, PESA, micro TESE, MESA, drainage of sperm release pathways after vasectomy, vasoepididymostomy anastomosis.  

Experience and education

Certified doctor – urology specialist with over 20 years’ surgical experience majoring in minimally invasive and microsurgery. Completed post-graduate studies at the Academy of Medicine in Latvia with major as doctor – urology specialist. Ultrasound expert diploma from Riga Stradins University.

Improved professional knowledge on the andrology training program in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Had in-service training and certified in andrologic microsurgery at the Cornell Center for Male Reproductive Medicine and Microsurgery Institute in New York, USA.

Had in-service training and majored in andrologic ultrasound at clinics in Firenze and Rome, Italy.

Regularly attends international urologic, andrologic, interdisciplinary conferences and courses in European countries, as well as clinics in North America and Israel.
