At PEDIEOS IVF CENTER, we offer the best in fertility and reproductive medicine, including state of the art procedures and the very latest in advanced laboratory techniques. The Center is located in the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia. It was established in 1986 by Dr. K. M. Trokoudes M.D., F.R.C.P. (C) who had a leading role in reproductive medicine in Cyprus and Greece. PEDIEOS IVF CENTER was the first worldwide, to have achieved pregnancy with globozoospermia (rare but severe disorder in male infertility where the spermatozoa is characterized by 100% round headed spermatozoa lacking an acrosome). Furthermore, our last work on the virification of human oocytes was published in Fertility and Sterility ( Comparison outcome of fresh and vitrified donor oocytes in an egg-sharing donation program (2011) Fertility and Sterility May;95(6):1996-2000) The center was also featured in the GUINESS BOOK OF RECORDS (1992-1993) for achieving a pregnancy in the oldest mother in the world for those 2 years. The center received a licenced certificate for the EU Cell and Tissue Directive requirements.

Outstanding success rates with an ethical approach to fertility treatment. We specialise in oocyte (egg), sperm and embryo donation. Also, we have a very successful oocyte freezing program with post-thaw survival rates reaching almost 100%. Preimplantation genetic analyses (PGD and PGS) for sex selection or genetic disorders are also offered at our centre. We colloborate with various genetic diagnostic laboratories to deliver the best possible treatment. We have a strong embryology laboratory which is one of the main determinants of the outcome of any IVF treatment. Our laboratory is equipped with latest technology and our embryologists only prefer to use the highest quality equipment and media. All our media, including oocyte freezing media, is imported from the most known media suppliers (No self-made media is used in our laboratory).
