I found both Mr Chawla and his assistant Jenny to be very professional and honest showing great care for my well-being and expectations. During our initial consultation, which was very thorough Mr Chawla found me to have glaucoma which had been undetected previously. Until he was happy that this condition had been stabilised he would not proceed with any cosmetic procedures. He has great ethics and I would not hesitate to recommend as I am thrilled at my level of care and results. Jenny his assistant is lovely and was in contact with me on a Sunday and her day off to check on my recovery. Even Pip, his secretary was helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I completely trust them with my eye care and any future treatments I may consider.

I had cataract in both eyes. My GP referred me to the London Independent Hospital (first class in all aspects !) where I was seen by Dr Mark Hulbert. At the initial thorough examination Dr Hulbert explained to me in detail my condition and the operations that were necessary to put it right. He spared no time in answering all my questions in a friendly and confidence inspiring way. During the actual operations (on different dates for each) Dr Hulbert was, again, very professional yet friendly making me feel at ease. Same during the post-operation visits. All in all, he made the whole experience memorably pleasant. Dr M. Hulbert proved to be a professional expert as well as a friendly and considerate person. I would confidently recommend him.
