All I can say is that I feel extremely lucky to have found himScott, US, 23 01 26

I want to take a moment to genuinely thank Dr Sachin Barwa for what has honestly been a life-changing outcome for me. I originally had TECNIS Synergy IOLs implanted in the UK, believing that was the best option available. Unfortunately, the result was the opposite — I was extremely dissatisfied and struggled badly with night vision and visual disturbances that affected my day-to-day life. Dr Barwa listened. Really listened. He took the time to understand exactly what I was experiencing, didn’t dismiss my concerns, and clearly explained the options available to fix the problem. He successfully removed the Synergy lenses implanted overseas and replaced them with lenses that were actually right for my eyes. The improvement has been dramatic. My night vision issues are largely gone, my overall vision is better than I ever expected, and I finally feel comfortable and confident again. I went overseas thinking that was where the best solution would be — only to realise that the right doctor was at home in South Africa all along. We are incredibly fortunate to have someone of Dr Barwa’s skill and professionalism here. All I can say is that I feel extremely lucky to have found him. An exceptional eye surgeon and a doctor who truly cares about his patients.
