Center Ophthalmology Refractive Bresciano

Born in Brescia September 17, 1956, he graduated in Medicine in Surgery at the University of Milan, specializing in ophthalmology at the "School of Ophthalmology II" at the same university in 1986. From 1988 to 2005 he appointed chief physician at the Department of Ophthalmology Hospital Manerbio (BS) of the 'Hospital of Desenzano Del Garda. On that occasion he was awarded the form of "Expert in surgery of the anterior segment eye" having personally performed in 1997 the first corneal transplant within the aforementioned Hospital. Since 2007 holds the position of Director of functional complex of Ophthalmology Foundation Poliambulanza, hospital based in Brescia, via Bissolati 45. In the Functional Unit are performed each year around 2,500 surgeries and 30,000 outpatient complex. He performed several internships abroad and in Italy at centers of excellence in ophthalmic surgery. He is a member of important scientific societies: Italian Society of Ophthalmology. Italian Society of Cornea Transplantation. European Society of Cornea & Ocular Surface Disease Specialists. American Academy of Ophthalmology.
