Richard (FAOI FBDO Dip Cataract and Refractive Surgery) qualified in Dublin as an Optometrist and has extended his knowledge with post graduate courses, most recently at the University of Ulster where he achieved a distinction in the Cataract and Refractive surgery diploma. He has been a practicing optician for many years, both in normal practice and in a laser environment. He has a particular interest in ocular health as well as providing accurate prescriptions for spectacles and contact lenses. Richard enjoys technology, and with a recent practice re-fit, has all the most modern tools at his disposal to examine patients’ eyes.
