Eye Athanasios I. Economou

The surgeon ophthalmologist Thanasis Oikonomou Ioannis and Vassiliki, was born in 1975 in Thessaloniki. He graduated from the 3rd Lyceum Serres and was introduced in 1994 at the Military School Corps Officers. Six years later he graduated from the Medical School of AUTH and S.S.A.S. and vowed Health Officer of Greek Police. In 2001 he was transferred to the Central Clinic of Athens Greek Police where he attended the outpatient program for two years. In this time period was seconded as medical schools in the test section Constables Sitia and Naoussa. In August 2003 began specializing in ophthalmology in APanepistimiaki Ophthalmology AUTH in the General Hospital AHEPA of Thessaloniki where he finished in four years. He specialized in refractive surgery (laser) at the University of Crete V.E.M.M.O under Professor John Pallikaris and Section Cornea and Refractive Surgery of the Moorfields Eye Hospital in London as refractive surgery fellow.
