Dr. Thomas Pahlitzsch is Medical Director of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Wittenberg Platz and medical director of the Laser Eye Centers Lasermed. He is one of the Germany-recognized specialists in the field of the anterior segment of the eye (incl. Refractive surgery). In 1982 he was involved in the basic research for the medical treatment of the human eye with laser technology. Since 1992 he leads by appropriate intervention itself and has made to date more than 20,000 laser treatments.
