Prof. Dr. Hasan Demirhan is a double board-certified otolaryngologist and Professor of Otolaryngology practising in Bahçelievler, Istanbul, with a clinical focus on functional and aesthetic rhinoplasty. He has performed over 4,000 procedures and treats patients travelling from across Europe, the Middle East and beyond. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2003 and completed his specialist training in Otorhinolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery at Haseki Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul, qualifying as a specialist in 2009. He went on to earn the title of Professor, and has trained internationally in advanced rhinoplasty technique. His approach rests on a single principle: the nose is a functional organ and a defining facial feature at the same time, and it should not be treated as one or the other. Patients are too often asked to choose between breathing well and looking well. Prof. Dr. Demirhan plans every case around both — assessing the internal nasal airway alongside facial proportion, skin thickness and the patient's own aesthetic goals before proposing a surgical plan.
