BSc (Hons.), RD, Ph.D.c He is extremely passionate about my job. He basically eat and breathe nutrition. As a youngster he played semi-professional tennis, which is when I first became interested in nutrition. Later on, I studied clinical nutrition and dietetics for 4 years at the University of Surrey, which ranks amongst the top universities in the world for nutritional sciences. Studying the clinical aspect of nutrition really helped me understand the whole picture of how our body responds to different conditions and disease states and made me realise that each person is unique when it comes to nutrition. My passion for nutrition and research granted me the Fresenious Kabi Dietetic Prize in 2012. I am now actively involved in nutrition research at the University of Surrey, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, and have a special interest in WEIGHT MANAGEMENT and innovative weight loss techniques. He strongly believe that the only way to successfully help people improve their health and achieve their nutritional goals is by providing tailored advice to individuals. He started his own clinic at Wimpole street, mainly because I could not find a different practice (private or public) that shared my views on nutrition counselling. He treat each one of my clients as individuals, getting to know them from day one and gradually build up a nutrition plan completely tailored to them, their needs,their goals and lifestyle. My method is not embraced by other clinics as it is very time-consuming (for the clinician!) and does not allow the consultation of large numbers of people within a short amount of time. He is very passionate about passing onto people, the numerous health benefits one gains from understanding the science behind nutrition. It is not as complicated and demanding as people may think. Clients that have been with me for a longer time, definitely know and understand nutrition better than many “nutrition experts” I come across on a daily basis.
