Today I saw Michael for help with quitting smoking. I decided to do this because I’ve smoked for around 8-9 years and it has gradually taken over my life to the point that I don’t get out of bed on a morning until I’ve had a cigarette. I feel that smoking is holding me back from what I want to achieve which is to be more healthy, be able to go running and exercise and to get out and enjoy my life - today with Michael’s help, I’ve made the first step in changing my life. I came across this clinic online and immediately wanted to come here. I’ve talked about hypnotherapy for a while now due to my mother having hypnotherapy to quit smoking after smoking for almost 40 years. My mother has now been quit over two years. Due to suffering anxiety I was really nervous to come do this, I didn’t know what to expect and it all felt a little daunting. When I arrived, Michael was very welcoming, friendly and attentive. Michael immediately put me at ease and talked me through the process of what would happen etc. The environment was perfect, the atmosphere was calming and Michael was incredibly professional. This was my first ever hypnotherapy session and I’m pleased to say it won’t be my last. I have genuinely never felt so calm and at ease, I’ve not felt so relaxed nor content in a very very long time, longer than I can remember. This session was excellent, I felt my whole body relax, my mind too. For someone who suffers anxiety and at times depressive states, who rarely sleeps more than a couple hours a night (sometimes days before any sleep) and who constantly feels agitated and restless, I’m ridiculously shocked at today's outcome. Since leaving this afternoon, I’ve felt a lot more calm. I’ve not wanted a cigarette since leaving, I’ve not even thought about them. I feel very confident going forward and I know that I have ongoing support in the form of an mp3 of today’s session to listen back to. Michael also gave me some great tips and techniques to further help me with my new journey. I feel wholly confident in recommending Manchester Hypnotherapy and their services, that confident that I’m already looking into other services to help me start living the life I deserve to be living.
