I'm deeply disappointed with my recent experience at NHC Honeydew.
On Monday, November 4th, 2024, I contacted the clinic multiple times to inform my doctor that my current antidepressant dosage of 50mg, was insufficient. Despite numerous attempts to reach the doctor's office and speak with various staff members of NC Honeydew, including Dr. Naidoo's sister, my message was not effectively communicated.
Subsequently, I experienced significant delays in receiving a revised prescription. After multiple follow-up emails to the practice manager (I would like to state it had been 18 DAYS since asking for this prescription). I eventually contacted the PA to the CEO of NHC, I finally received the incorrect prescription on November 14th.
The entire ordeal, spanning nearly three weeks, was incredibly stressful and caused unnecessary suffering. It's disheartening that such basic healthcare requests can be so poorly handled.
Today, December 9th, 2024, I'm still facing issues with my medication, as there are no repeat prescriptions for my essential medications, even those not classified as Level 5. The lack of attention to detail and empathy is truly disappointing. I have only now received a script, very rudely sent by the Sister at NHC Honeydew, with "no apology" or "please see attached". I was also assured that the PA would liaise with the CEO and she said I would get an acknowledgement from the CEO of NHC,but nothing to date (17 days later).
I hope NHC will take immediate steps to address these systemic issues and improve patient care.
